About Bayou Granite & Marble
Bayou Granite was formed in August of 2000 when Owner John Seebode took a chance on a fairly new industry to the area. John saw a need for a shop that would focus exclusively on custom countertops.
Starting with just one employee, John began producing custom tops by manually cutting and polishing material using a friend's garage as a production facility. As the business grew, more employees were hired and the company began to look at technology to increase production.
In 2017, Bayou Granite moved into its current 7,000 sq. ft. facility with new, state-of-the-art machinery. Now operating two water jets and two CNC machines, along with an inline polisher, Bayou Granite is considered one of the industry leaders in the fabrication and installation of custom countertops.
Our products range from acrylic solid surface, granite, marble, quartz, porcelain, and glass. We are a full-service countertop and wall-cladding operation serving the Gulf Coast and beyond. Bayou Granite services everything from single-family homes to multi-unit complexes, the hospitality industry and medical facilities.
With an in-house design team, and customized in-person attention to detail, we want to make sure your project, big or small, exceeds your expectations and vision.

Our process ensures that installation is the easiest part of the process. We fit the pieces together and get out of your way as quickly as possible so you can start enjoying your brand-new countertops.
